Nasty C Shares New Album ‘I Love It Here’

Nasty C, the acclaimed South African rapper, has released his highly anticipated fourth full-length album, “I Love It Here,” through Def Jam Recordings. This 19-track album showcases Nasty C’s ability to seamlessly blend hip-hop with African influences and soulful elements, solidifying his status as a global phenomenon.

“I Love It Here” takes listeners on a journey through various vibes, styles, and emotions. The album opens with the powerful track “She’s Gone & The End” and features bold songs like “F__k That” and “Broken Marriages.” Tracks like “RIP” delve into deeper emotional themes. Nasty C collaborates with a dynamic roster of artists, including Tellaman, Ami Faku, Manana, Anica, Maglera Doe Boy, 25K, and more, to tell his story. The album concludes with the heartfelt track “Dear Oliver.”

Prior to the album’s release, Nasty C shared the single “Prosper In Peace” featuring Benny The Butcher. In this track, Nasty C reflects on the challenges of fame and the constant scrutiny he faces but maintains his confidence in overcoming obstacles.

Nasty C, whose real name is Nsikayesizwe David Junior Ngcobo, began his rap journey at a young age, learning from his older brother. He gained recognition with his early mixtapes, including “One Kid, A Thousand Coffins” (2012) and “Price City” (2014), which featured the hit single “Juice Back.” He has received numerous awards and nominations for his work, including South African Music Awards and BET Awards nominations.
