Naira Marley Reassert His Innocense And Vows to Return and Assist with Investigations into Mohbad’s Death

Azeez Adeshina Fashola, better known as Naira Marley, has taken a proactive stance in addressing the ongoing investigation into the tragic passing of Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad. In a recent Instagram post, Naira Marley asserted his innocence and pledged to return to Nigeria to assist with the police’s ongoing inquiry.

The renowned artist clarified that he had been out of the country since August 31, 2023, well before the unfortunate incident occurred, dispelling any notions of evading responsibility. He emphasized his unwavering commitment to the truth, pledging full cooperation with the authorities and law enforcement agencies to shed light on the matter.

Naira Marley’s statement read in part: “I have been out of the country since the 31st of August 2023, and I’m here to return in light of the police investigation. I am making arrangements to return to the country to assist the investigation and give my version of events. I am fully cooperating with the police team, and I certainly have no reason to be a fugitive when I have no hand in his death.”

Furthermore, he assured the public that his legal team is actively engaged with law enforcement and government agencies, working diligently to provide substantiated evidence that will exonerate him from any involvement in Mohbad’s passing.

Naira Marley made it unequivocally clear that he had never engaged in any form of aggression, harassment, or harm toward Mohbad, both during the artist’s time on his record label and following their professional association.

This bold declaration reflects Naira Marley’s commitment to the truth, justice, and honoring the memory of Mohbad. As the investigation unfolds, his willingness to cooperate and provide evidence will be instrumental in resolving this tragic case.
