New Docuseries “Behind the Crime” Explores Nipsey Hussle’s Murder

The tragic and untimely murder of Nipsey Hussle is the focus of a new docuseries titled “Behind the Crime.” The series delves into the inner workings of high-profile criminal cases, with its debut episode premiering recently and concentrating on the 2019 killing of the Los Angeles native.

“Behind the Crime” is a collaborative effort between Fox’s Tubi and Dan Abrams’ Law & Crime. The series offers viewers an in-depth look at the justice system, providing unfiltered access with real case footage.

Nipsey Hussle’s killer, Eric Holder Jr., was sentenced to 60 years to life in prison in February after being convicted of gunning down the rapper. The murder stemmed from a brief conversation outside Nipsey’s South L.A. clothing store, during which Nipsey allegedly accused Holder of being a snitch. Holder later returned with weapons and fatally shot the Crenshaw rapper.

Nipsey Hussle is survived by Lauren London and their six-year-old son, Kross, as well as his 13-year-old daughter, Emani, from a previous relationship. London has been candid about her grief and healing process following her partner’s death, emphasizing the ups and downs that come with it.

The docuseries promises to provide an in-depth exploration of Nipsey Hussle’s murder trial, story, and case, shedding light on this high-profile criminal case that deeply affected the music industry and the community.
